As a Volunteer Logistics Assistant, you will be soliciting for event donations via email. Will also be responsible for soliciting gift cards and product donations for annual events from local companies via email. You will also be doing data entry handling phones to compile and record donor information. 2 positions are available for 4 hours a day.
Types of event tickets - We often would get tickets donated to all events coming to Fresno. These events come to the Save Mart Center, Convention Center, and the Fairgrounds. The events are usually events such as Harlem Globetrotter, Disney on Ice, Monster Jam Truck, Barnum & Bailey Circus, American Idol in Concert, Etc. etc., etc… We utilized these tickets 1st to give to our students and volunteers and then to sell as a fundraiser. Boys2Men Girls2Women After School Tutoring Program runs daily Tuesday thru Friday 3pm to 5pm. Staff are scheduled to work 2pm to 5:30pm so that they can assist with daily set up and lesson prep for students, then tear down and clean up, while waiting for parents to pick up students, before signing out at 5:30pm. The Tutoring Program itinerary consists of fragmented time for: homework, or tutoring exercises. A student lunch is accompanied such as the basics like reading and math with a group activity. A half hour of reading takes place while the tutor listens as the student reads. Scheduled Guest Speakers will come in twice a week and present on positive image, and character-building topics. At 5pm the tutoring session ends and parents begin to pick children up.
Applications will be taken in person on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 10:00am. Applicants must be available for an hour and half when turning in application, for orientation and interview on the same day. Application Orientation Interviews must be scheduled and are not random.

Our organization strives to provide a safe, healthy and sanitary environment where at-risk children 5-18 come for tutoring in a weekly program.
