You will have the opportunity to assist in many areas while enhancing your personal development skills and learning new skills for your future career. This volunteer opportunity is ideal for young adults and college students or anyone who is interested in making a difference in a child's life.
Every Volunteer/Tutor/Mentor must meet specific qualifications as we do work with children:
Assist in the day-to-day operations of office duties within the Boys 2 Men Girls 2 Women organization as well as assist other staff members.
Being a positive role model and an inspiration in a child's life makes a big difference to a child. This is the biggest opportunity for any volunteer to have.
Assist in tutoring the children with their homework assignments in our after-school program to help the students complete their assignments in a timely manner.
Assist with the children where needed during the after-school program, summer camp and other Boys 2 Men Girls 2 Women projects.
Assist office staff in researching State grants as well and complete the process in writing of the grants.
Assist in other areas where needed. It can range from different aspects and different projects within the organization.
EARN while you LEARN
You can work at the Boys 2 Men Girls 2 Women and earn while you learn through the Federal Work Study Program. Verify eligibility with your financial aide office on your college or high school campus to see if you qualify for Federal Work Study.
Gain SKILLS
By working or volunteering at Boys 2 Men Girls 2 Women you will learn and gain new skills that will assistant you later in life.
Serve the community.
What better way to serve the community and work with at risk children. You will be a great mentor to children in need as well as impart in them the knowledge of advancing their education.

Orientations are held every Tuesday and Thursday at 10 am and will last about 2 hours. You can also apply in person in our office, email our office or call us at 559-225-9300 to schedule your orientation/interview.
There will be a $30.00 cash only fingerprinting fee for self-volunteers due at the time of orientation.
